Our GP Liaison & Appointments team hosts Continuing Medical Education seminars for General Practitioners, which can be used towards CPD Credits. Seminars are held in the morning and at lunchtime and are fully catered. Guest speakers include consultants with practicing privileges at The Lister Hospital, Chelsea Outpatient Centre or Chelsea Consulting Rooms. Certificates are provided at all seminars for the purpose of CPD credits.

Breakfast seminars are held at The Lister Hospital for General Practitioners, physiotherapists and other health professionals. They are held on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, with a continental breakfast served from 7.30am; presentations begin at 7.45am and conclude by 8.30am.

If you cannot make it to our breakfast seminars at The Lister Hospital, we will happily bring our consultants to your GP practice. We will work with you and your practice to determine your topic of interest and then find the most appropriate consultant that can deliver you a presentation on this topic. Then we will arrange to come to your GP practice on a day/time suitable to you.

The Lister Hospital masterclass programme on Acute Care was held in October 2011 at Cadogan Hall, Sloane Square. This masterclass highlighted various topics around acute care, with specalists speaking on general surgery, paediatric surgery, critical care and respiratory medicine.

The Lister Hospital Golf Society hosted their annual golf day at St. Georges Hill Golf Club on Friday 16 September.
With a beautiful backdrop for the Individual Stableford golf tournament, the golfers tee'd off in the morning, and joined the attendees of the beginner's golfing course for the carvery lunch in the clubhouse.
Congratulations to our double winner, Dr Steven Allen who was awarded a prestigious leather golf bag from St. Georges Hill Golf Club for winning overall, and also taking the prize for the Longest Drive. Also awarded for nearest to pin was Dr Christopher Davenport-Jones, who described the golf day as "a most enjoyable and memorable day".
